Cruz's 19th home run, the hardest contact of the night, pulled the Pirates within a run in the fourth. Milwaukee let the lead slip in the sixth on Flores's homer, then took it back on Yelich's two-run single in the seventh. Carmen Mlodzinski walked two and gave up two earned in two innings, and Trevor Megill struck out 2 on 8 pitches for the save.
