Gasser gave up one hit — Iván Herrera's 19th homer in the 4th — and struck out nine across six innings. The Cardinals tied it at 4 in the 7th on back-to-back homers from Jordan Walker, his 29th, and Alec Burleson, his 25th, a 414-foot shot at 109.6 off the bat. The tie lasted one inning. Brice Turang's two-run single in the 8th was the blow that turned a one-run game into a four-run cushion. Milwaukee left ten on and still scored eight.
