Both bullpens collapsed in the sixth — fourteen runs across the inning, with Ian Seymour taking the worst of it: five hits, five earned runs, twenty-one pitches, and not a single out. Nolan Gorman's two-run single capped the St. Louis half, and from there the Cardinals did not trail again, though it took Ryne Stanek walking three in the ninth before the final out landed. Tampa Bay left sixteen men on base across nine innings, a number that had been building since the third and never stopped.

The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
