The game was scoreless through five, and Jacob Misiorowski had struck out ten when Trevor Story came up with two on in the sixth and hit an 0-2 changeup 102.2 mph into left — his first double of the season, and the hit that decided the night. Caleb Durbin's groundout brought home a third run two batters later. Milwaukee answered with two in the seventh, one on a hit by pitch and one on a forceout, and got no closer. Garrett Crochet struck out seven in 6.1 innings and left with a one-run lead, and Aroldis Chapman threw six pitches — two for strikes — and got the save.
