The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? Skenes threw 60 strikes in 88 pitches and allowed one hit — Abrams's solo shot on a 99.5 mph fastball. After that, the Nationals' staff collapsed in stages. Cavalli lasted 1.1 innings with three walks. Rutledge gave up seven runs on six hits in the same workload. Lord managed two outs and allowed three. Spencer Horwitz got his first home run of the season in the third; Bryan Reynolds's first triple of the year cleared the bases in the sixth. The Pirates left 10 runners on and scored 16 anyway. Washington used six pitchers, and only Ribalta faced the minimum.
