Garrett Mitchell's sharp line drive to left in the tenth scored Joey Ortiz and Jake Bauers, and it came off Calvin Faucher, who took the loss. The game had been tied since the eighth, when Agustín Ramírez doubled home Xavier Edwards. Otto Lopez's two-run homer in the sixth — his third — had pulled Miami back from a three-run deficit, and the Marlins held there for two innings. Faucher walked one and gave up two hits in the tenth, and Trevor Megill gave up a run before closing it. Milwaukee left nine on base and still scored seven, and Miami's two errors came in a game they lost by two.
