Andruw Monasterio's RBI single in the fifth tied it, then Willson Contreras hit his sixth home run — two runs at 108.6 mph off an 86.9 mph slider — and Samuel Basallo answered immediately with a solo shot. Ceddanne Rafaela tripled in the sixth, his second, and Marcelo Mayer's single brought him home. Gunnar Henderson's ninth homer got Baltimore within a run, but Grant Wolfram gave up three hits and two runs without recording an out. Connelly Early went 6.2 innings with two earned, and Aroldis Chapman threw seven pitches, all strikes, to close it.
