Basallo's first-inning double scored Pete Alonso, his third-inning single brought home two, and his fifth-inning triple — the first of his career — sent Alonso home again. The lead changed hands three times, Sandy Alcantara gave up 7 earned in 4.1 innings on 106 pitches, and Chris Bassitt was not much better, lasting four innings with four runs. Rico Garcia threw 1.1 clean innings for the win, and Andrew Nardi took the loss in the ninth, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks. The Orioles' nine runs on ten hits were barely enough.

A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
