Tyler Rogers got the ball with the score tied in the eighth and gave up four singles before the inning ended. Two of them stayed on the ground through the left side, and Yandy Díaz's roller — deflected by Ernie Clement — was the one that brought Taylor Walls home. Rogers has been reliable enough that one bad third of an inning is not the season, but 0.1 IP, 4 H, and 2 R is the line tonight. Gausman gave them six innings and a tie, and Toronto left seven on base the rest of the way.
