Sonny Gray struck out eleven in seven innings at Coors Field and allowed one earned run on six hits. Wilyer Abreu tripled in the first and homered in the fifth — his 10th — and Nate Eaton, who came in without a double this season, had two by the sixth. Eaton's second double drove in a run, and he scored on Ceddanne Rafaela's single. Sean Sullivan took the loss, walking five in five innings. Gray threw 65 strikes among 93 pitches, and Colorado never got closer than the one-run second.
