Bubba Chandler walked four and struck out none in four innings, and the Pirates were still within reach when Gregory Soto kept it close. The eighth inning ended Washington's night — Brad Lord gave up four hits and five runs in 1.1 innings, and Brandon Lowe's three-run homer was the last of them. Lowe's 21st home run left the bat at 107.6 mph. Konnor Griffin started the rally with a two-run single. Pittsburgh left seven on base and still scored eleven. Bryan Reynolds homered in the third, his 13th.

The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
