Three hits, 5 runs. José Caballero's 9th home run — a three-run shot on a 90.1 mph changeup — was the first hit of the night for New York, and it came in the fifth. Ben Rice's 25th, a solo blast in the ninth, was the last. Between those swings, Cam Schlittler went eight innings, struck out eight, walked nobody, and gave up four singles. Trent Grisham hit a lineout at 107.2 mph in the early going, the hardest contact of the night, and it found a glove. Nobody on either side reached base on a walk issued by Schlittler. The Rays managed one run on a Richie Palacios single and never moved the line again.
