Eight strikeouts in six innings for Tatsuya Imai, and the one run he allowed was the closest Miami came to making it a game. Jeremy Peña's eighth home run — a line drive to left center, overturned on review — opened the scoring, and Lucas Spence's first double of the year made it 2-0 in the second. Kyle Stowers doubled in a run for Miami in the fifth, but Isaac Paredes answered with a three-run homer to left that same inning. Joe Mack's two-run shot in the seventh left the bat at 109.3 mph and traveled 435 feet, but Miami never got closer than two.
