The White Sox hit five home runs and the Rays hit one, and that was the game. Miguel Vargas started it in the first, Andrew Benintendi followed in the second, and Munetaka Murakami's two-run shot in the third made it 4-0. Erick Fedde gave Chicago five innings of one-run ball — four hits, no walks, six strikeouts — and Tyler Schweitzer and Trevor Richards handled the rest. Junior Caminero hit his 30th home run 453 feet to center in the fourth, a solo shot that made it 4-1, but the Rays did not score again. Nick Martinez took the loss: six innings, six earned, all of them on home runs.
