The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Carson Palmquist got one out before the first run crossed, and by then the night was already Luzardo's. He gave up four hits across eight innings, walked two, and threw 65 of his 98 pitches for strikes — the kind of line that at Citizens Bank Park means the ball was finishing where the glove was set. Arraez drove in the first run on a 90.6 mph sinker and the second on a 3-2 slider, and both pitches ended where they were aimed. Washington left six on base across nine innings and never produced a rally that forced Luzardo to change his approach. Palmquist threw sixteen pitches and got one out, and every reliever behind him spent the rest of the night keeping a deficit from getting worse rather than erasing one.
