Griffin Conine's two-run homer left the bat at 110.7 mph and traveled 430 feet, and it brought Miami within a run they would not find. Michael Conforto's homer in the third and Ian Happ's two-run single had built Chicago's lead, and the Cubs kept answering — one in the fourth, one in the fifth, one in the sixth. Ryan Gusto took the loss with five earned on ten hits in four and two-thirds. Ryan Zeferjahn got the last five outs without a hit, and Michael Busch's RBI single in the sixth was the one that held.

The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
