Payton Tolle struck out twelve in six innings without a walk — 70 of his 91 pitches were strikes. Eli White's three-run homer in the 2nd accounted for all of Boston's scoring, and it was enough. Kyle Bradish gave up three runs in four innings, none of them earned, and took the loss. Aroldis Chapman came on for the 9th and struck out two. Pete Alonso's two singles left the bat at 111.9 and 107.6 mph.
