Pasquantino homered in the fifth — his 16th, on a 92.7 mph sinker at 1-0 — to give KC a 2-1 lead, and after Jo Adell tied it with a 440-foot blast at 112 mph off the bat, Pasquantino did it again in the eighth: his 17th, another solo shot, and this one held. Lucas Erceg needed 17 pitches for a 1-2-3 ninth and the save. Cleveland's nine hits became two runs.
