The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Alec Burleson drove in the first run of the night and the third, and Nathan Church's two-run homer in the fourth gave St. Louis the cushion they rode. Dustin May threw 97 pitches through five and a third and left with the lead. Chris Paddack struck out seven and still gave up eight hits and five earned in four and two-thirds. Jakob Marsee hit his first home run of the season at 110.9 mph off the bat, and Miami still left ten on base. Riley O'Brien allowed a ninth-inning single and finished it.
