Ty France homered in the fifth and again in the ninth — solo shots both — and between them the Padres took the lead without hitting a ball over the wall. Gavin Sheets singled to right to score two and tie it in the seventh, then sacrifice flies from Fermin and Laureano followed, the second scoring on a throwing error by Corbin Carroll. Germán Márquez went six innings, allowed four earned, and still got the win because the offense came back for him. Mason Miller needed thirteen pitches to close it.

PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
