Duran's fourth homer — three runs on a 94.6 mph fastball at 2-1 — was the swing that decided it. Payton Tolle won with seven innings of one-hit ball, eight strikeouts, and two unearned runs on 83 pitches. Detroit scored four runs on three hits and lost by one.
