Bryce Harper started it on the first pitch he saw — a 94.6 mph fastball sent out to left — and Alec Bohm followed two innings later with a three-run shot on an 84 mph slider. Kyle Schwarber's 24th, a two-run blast in the fourth off a 91.2 mph cutter, made it 7-1, and that was effectively the game. Jesús Luzardo struck out eight in five and two-thirds and walked four, which is not clean, but Toronto could not punish him for it. Max Scherzer threw 82 pitches in three and a third, gave up five earned, and the Blue Jays never recovered from the hole it put them in.

◆ diamond fills = run scored
⚫ the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him
one dot per run driven in (RBI)
PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
