Michael King held Atlanta to one run over six innings, and Jackson Merrill's 449-foot home run in the seventh tied it. Then the eighth inning was the ballgame. Wandy Peralta gave up three hits and four earned runs while recording one out, and Randy Vásquez allowed two more before the inning was over. Six Braves crossed on six run-scoring hits: doubles from Jim Jarvis and Brewer Hicklen, singles from Ozzie Albies, Matt Olson, Austin Riley, and Dominic Smith.
