Jonathan Bowlan took the loss in the eighth, and Philadelphia's lead — built on Bryce Harper's triple and Trea Turner's home run — disappeared with him. Both clubs scored three in the fifth, when Heriberto Hernández's two-run homer answered Harper and Alec Bohm, and the game tightened until Miami broke through late. Dax Fulton gave the Marlins two clean innings, Tyler Zuber struck out two, and Pete Fairbanks closed it. Philadelphia left four on base, and the bullpen couldn't hold what the lineup had built.
