Emmet Sheehan gave up three home runs in the third inning — Ceddanne Rafaela's 15th, Wilyer Abreu's 17th at 109.1 mph, and Masataka Yoshida's 5th — and that sequence decided the game. Boston had already scored twice in the first on RBI singles from Yoshida and Caleb Durbin, and the Dodgers' three-run second was their last push. Jarren Duran added his 14th in the sixth. Sheehan threw 58 pitches in 2.2 innings and took the loss.
