Both teams put up four in the 3rd — Isaac Paredes and Bryce Harper each drove in two — and Houston took the lead in the 4th on Cam Smith's two-run homer. Then King entered. He gave up three singles without recording an out, four runs crossed, and the lead was gone. Cristopher Sánchez got the win despite giving up ten hits in six innings. Hunter Brown struck out seven in five for Houston and left with the lead that King couldn't hold.
