Tyler Mahle gave Atlanta seven innings of one-run baseball and handed a 3-1 lead to Dylan Lee, who needed fifteen pitches to surrender it on back-to-back home runs — Schwarber's at 111.7 mph and 447 feet, then Harper. Andrew Painter threw three clean innings to keep it tied, and Alec Bohm led off the tenth with the shot that ended Atlanta's season. The Braves left eleven men on the card. Five of those innings were tied or Atlanta led, and the runs never came.
