The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? Walker Buehler threw 61 pitches and got eight outs. Three of the nine hitters he faced scored, and the Red Sox built a 4-0 lead in the third on doubles by Jarren Duran and Masataka Yoshida and a triple from Wilyer Abreu — all three hits going to right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. Manny Machado's first homer of the year, a three-run shot to left in the fifth, turned the game around. Jackson Merrill's solo home run to left-center in the eighth gave San Diego the margin. Mason Miller needed twelve pitches to strike out the side in the ninth. Boston's bullpen gave up four runs in four innings after Ranger Suarez left, and two errors behind him did not help.
