Kyle Schwarber's first-inning home run and Bryson Stott's ground-rule double in the second were the only runs until the seventh. Zack Wheeler went 7.1 innings on 87 pitches, didn't walk a hitter, and left with a 2-0 lead. Boston got one back on Ceddanne Rafaela's single in the seventh and brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth before Jhoan Duran struck out two of the last three.
