Baldwin drove in both Atlanta runs — a first-inning homer to center and a fifth-inning single to left — and it was still not enough. Tolle matched him: eight innings, four hits, two earned, eighty-five pitches, three strikeouts. Elder was just as good through seven, but in the eighth, Contreras took a 1-2 slider to left center with Abreu aboard, and that was the lead. Aroldis Chapman walked two in the ninth and closed it out.
