Fernando Tatis Jr.'s first home run of the season left the bat at 114 mph and traveled 451 feet. It was the hardest ball hit all night, and it gave San Diego a 3-1 lead in the fifth. Michael King handed that lead to the bullpen after six innings of one-earned-run baseball. Five runs crossed in the seventh — a hit-by-pitch, a fielder's choice, a walk, and a two-run single from Luis García Jr. — and Washington led by three. San Diego left eight on base. Tatis waited until late May for that swing, and the lead it produced was gone by the end of the next inning.

PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
