Hunter Brown struck out ten over five shutout innings and left with a 1-0 lead. Bryan King came in, got nobody out, and gave up four runs — the last three on Mike Yastrzemski's home run to right-center. Ozzie Albies had driven in the first with a single, and by the time Victor Mederos came in to get two outs, Atlanta led 4-1. José Altuve's solo homer in the 4th had been the only run through five; Yainer Diaz hit one in the 8th to make it 4-2, and Dylan Dodd struck out the side in the 9th.
