Ian Seymour gave the Rays six innings with seven strikeouts and left trailing 2-1, which is the kind of line that earns a loss and nothing else. The problem was across the way: Shane Bieber threw seven on 86 pitches, fifty-seven for strikes, and walked nobody. Alejandro Kirk started the scoring in the first by singling on an 0-2 slider, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. lined a 91.7 mph fastball into right for insurance in the seventh. Tampa Bay managed three hits all night and two came in the same inning. Seymour deserved better. He did not get it.

A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
