His two-run homer in the 9th off an 0-1 slider erased a 3-1 deficit, and in the 11th he reached when Bogaerts booted a makeable ball to bring home the tying run before Mateo lined a single to left to end it. The Padres led in the top of the 11th and held it for one batter. Ray went six innings of one-run ball with four strikeouts, Rasmussen matched him over six, and neither starter got the decision.
