Luzardo struck out six on ninety-nine pitches, scattering six hits, and left with the lead in the seventh. Alec Bohm barreled a double at 107.7 mph that traveled four hundred eighteen feet, then singled home a run in the fifth off Eduardo Rodriguez, who took the loss with three earned over five. Justin Crawford's RBI single opened a three-run eighth that put it out of reach. Arizona's offense produced six hits, the same number Luzardo allowed by himself.
